• Do daily, weekly and monthly stock checks, ensure the correct level of supplies is ordered, check deliveries, and monitor stock levels, investigating and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly labour schedules in advance and ensure all shifts are properly staffed.
• Ensure recruitment is non-discriminatory, that all staff receive a comprehensive induction and are correctly trained, and that development and succession planning are carried out.
• Follow policies and procedures to minimise employee relations issues, action recruitment and termination payroll change documentation, and coordinate, hold and record monthly staff meetings.
• Ensure staff and management are fully trained in fire procedures, health and safety, and that all daily, weekly and monthly administration and accurate operating reports are completed.
• Ensure standards follow HACCP and that safety, health and hygiene standards meet statutory regulations.
• Monitor local competitor activity and local events that may affect trade, coordinate in-store promotions with fully briefed staff, and monitor operating practices, acting on any problems identified.
• Demonstrate teamwork, coach and support staff, cross-train team members, and hire, develop and promote restaurant staff in consultation with the Area or Regional Manager, administering progressive discipline as needed.

Requirements
