Libstar is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor in Cape Town to lead the maintenance team at a food production operation. This permanent role is about keeping equipment, utilities and facilities running efficiently, so production can reach its targets for output and quality.

Role details and duties
The purpose of the role is to oversee and assist the maintenance team so that all equipment, utilities and facilities operate efficiently throughout their working life, through maintenance and optimisation, and to help production reach its targets. The main tasks listed in the original advert are:
- Comply with the necessary occupational health and safety requirements and food safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping and pest control.
- Ensure legal and safety inspections are completed.

- Carry out over-inspections on completed jobs and artisans assigned areas, and assist artisans on the job where necessary.
- Ensure maintenance tactics are followed, manage the day-to-day outputs of the team, and ensure a fair allocation of workload.
- Provide backup and support to the Maintenance Manager, and live the brand by living the companys core values.
