About the company and the work

The Senior Accredited Trainer will work with the Learning and Development team, Divisional People Partners and training teams to make sure accredited programmes are relevant, well organised and delivered to a high standard.

Role details and duties
The position is full time and based in Brackenfell, Western Cape. Duties include:
- Delivering high-quality accredited training programmes aligned with the National Qualifications Framework.
- Working closely with Learning and Development colleagues, Divisional People Partners and training teams.
- Carrying out training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and tailor content accordingly.
- Planning, organising and coordinating logistics such as scheduling and venues.
- Using varied advanced training methods and facilitation techniques, face to face and virtually, to maximise learner engagement.
- Evaluating training effectiveness through participant feedback and assessment, and keeping accurate training records, data and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws, organisational governance policies, and health and safety requirements.
- Contributing to divisional training initiatives and to continuous improvement in training approaches and technology.
Requirements

- A diploma in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Training and Development, or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum Grade 12 National Senior Certificate, which is essential.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Senior Accredited Training Delivery role, focusing on accredited courses.
- Proven capability to deliver higher-level NQF accredited courses, with comprehensive exposure to assessment.
- Experience within FMCG, retail or a similar sector, which is essential.
- Strong proficiency in varied training methods, both face to face and virtual.
- Demonstrable ability to conduct detailed training needs assessments and tailor programmes to meet identified needs.
- Excellent organisational skills, including planning and managing all training logistics.
- Sound knowledge of relevant labour laws, governance frameworks, and health and safety requirements.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
