A permanent, management-level Regional Manager: Customer Services opportunity is open in KwaZulu-Natal through Ntice Sourcing Solutions, for a leading FMCG manufacturer. The role oversees regional customer service, warehousing, distribution and fleet operations, reporting to the Regional Executive: Supply Chain.

Role details and duties
Key areas include effective fleet management in line with RTQS and RTMS requirements, ensuring the quality and accuracy of products delivered to customers, leading and managing the internal sales team, driving excellent customer service and efficient order management, and overseeing raw materials warehouses and teams so operational standards are consistently maintained. The manager will maintain excellent housekeeping across departments, including the yard and offices, ensure accurate weekly and monthly stocktakes with variances investigated and reported, investigate customer returns, delivery failures and incomplete loads with effective corrective action, and build strong relationships with internal and external suppliers, customers and stakeholders. Duties also include developing and motivating annual capital expenditure, raw materials and distribution budgets, implementing systems to monitor, control and reduce operating costs, promoting positive employee morale, engagement and accountability, reporting monthly benchmarks covering key logistics ratios and operating costs, driving a 99% service delivery target and prioritising customer satisfaction, fostering strong inter-branch and cross-functional relationships, and ensuring compliance with FSSC, ISO and other applicable standards.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, which is essential in the source.
- At least 10 years of experience in warehousing, distribution and/or transport, including management experience as stated in the source.
