Eskom is looking for two Officers: Assets Disposal to work from Sunninghill. These are permanent posts at task grade T12, and applications close on 12 November 2026.
About the company and the work
Eskom operates in South Africa’s electricity, energy and water supply industry. These roles sit in the Investment Recovery team within Corporate Procurement, and exist to provide an effective disposal and advisory service covering the procurement and supply chain management processes used to dispose of Eskom assets.
Role details and duties
The successful candidates will:
- Put the entire asset disposal process into operation
- Help improve and strengthen the asset disposal function
- Establish long term contracts
- Manage the collection and distribution of revenue received
- Give professional input to the business unit’s relevant committees
- Analyse disposal needs and advise customers on the best asset disposal practices

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements, as stated in the original advert:
- A National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Finance at NQF level 6 with 240 credits
- Three years of experience in sourcing, commercial work and supply chain

Strong computer literacy, strategic thinking and decision making, analytical and communication skills, the ability to work with senior level colleagues, facilitation, administration, attention to detail, a methodical approach, business acumen, problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills are also expected.
