Role details and duties
As the Grade R teacher, you will create a warm, engaging and structured classroom where young learners grow through purposeful play, creative exploration and structured learning experiences. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Grade R lessons; developing foundational literacy, numeracy, fine motor, gross motor and social skills; creating a nurturing, stimulating and well-organised classroom; incorporating play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches; monitoring learner progress and communicating effectively with parents and school leadership; encouraging independence, confidence, curiosity and emotional development; working collaboratively with fellow educators; participating in professional development and coaching; and contributing positively to Radley’s entrepreneurial and future-focused approach to education.
Requirements
