A Pretoria team is looking for a Senior Software Developer to build and improve in-house software used by colleagues and customers. This full-time role suits a developer who enjoys turning user needs into working, reliable applications and staying with a system through testing, fixes and enhancements.

Role details and duties
- Gather user requirements and turn them into clear function designs.
- Develop software, fix bugs and add enhancements to existing applications.
- Consult with colleagues and clients who use the application.

- Set up new servers and maintain virtual machines used for development and testing.
- Design and develop customer user reports.

Requirements
- A minimum of NQF Level 4 and an IT-related diploma.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Strong web application and database design skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and Visual Studio, with MVC, SQL Server, C#, Entity Framework, jQuery and .NET 4.0 and 4.5.
- Able to work as part of a team, under pressure, to a high standard and to meet deadlines, including long hours or overtime when required.
