Role details and duties
The Senior Power Converter Design Engineer will work on power converter development, including Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) power electronics design, control loop design and stability analysis, magnetic component design, and PCB design and hardware development. The role also covers testing and validation, and product development and manufacturing support, taking DC-DC and AC-DC power conversion products from concept through to production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or BTech in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Power Electronics.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in power electronics design and development.
- Proven experience developing DC-DC and AC-DC power conversion products from concept to production.
- Hands-on experience with Silicon Carbide (SiC) and/or Gallium Nitride (GaN) power devices.
- Demonstrated experience in control loop design, compensation, and stability analysis.
- Experience in renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging and industrial power applications.
- Experience working with high-power and high-voltage systems.
- Master’s Degree in Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related field is advantageous.
