Role details and duties

As Senior Business Analyst, your work will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as a consultant on the projects or applications.
• Challenging the business in its thinking, especially to understand the intent behind business requirements.
• With little supervision, eliciting, gathering, analysing, documenting, validating and communicating business requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Writing clear and concise user stories, epics and features aligned with the INVEST principles to support effective agile development.
• Collaborating with the business to build and maintain a well-prioritised backlog, so delivery teams have a steady flow of valuable work.
• Conducting in-depth product analysis by developing strong knowledge of the existing product.

Requirements

• Experience with Scrum principles in an agile environment.
• Proven project experience in writing user stories, epics and features in line with the INVEST principles.
• At least 3 years of experience in agile projects.
• Working knowledge of Open API Specification (OAS) 2.0 and 3.0.
• Able to read and interpret JSON and XML files.
• Able to understand and work using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• A formal qualification such as a B.Com or BSc, diploma or certification (IIBA or similar).
