A client in the insurance industry is seeking Sales Call Centre Agents to join its team in Menlo Park, Pretoria. This full-time role is for confident, sales-driven agents who can sell policies by phone and keep their own policy book in good shape.

Role details and duties

• Market products and achieve sales targets.
• Sell policies on outbound calls.
• Apply product knowledge on every call.
• Capture policies on the system.
• Attend to client queries.
• Process amendments on policies.
• Take responsibility for your own policy retention.
• Adhere to and comply with the FSB board notice in terms of FAIS.

Requirements

• Matric.
• Call Centre Certificate.
• One year of experience as a call centre agent, outbound, in the insurance industry.
• RE5 is an advantage.
• Registration as an Employee Representative is an advantage.
• A recognised qualification as per the FSB is an advantage.
• Knowledge of legislation and the life insurance industry.
• Skills in verbal and written communication, computers, telephone etiquette and sales.
• Able to deal with various people; confident, assertive, positive, self-motivated, people-centric, accurate and a team player.
