Role details / duties

The role is specifically geared to candidates with experience in steel structural fabrication, engineering solutions, and construction and maintenance, including work on steel structures, piping, marine repair and bulk storage tankers. The role may require extensive travel when needed.

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, with 2 to 5 or more years of experience as a Project Engineer in the heavy engineering or construction sector, specifically managing projects in steel structures, piping and related engineering solutions.
• Experience in NEC3 contracts, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
• Demonstrated experience in full project management, leading projects from quotation to finalisation.
• Proven expert organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and take ownership of projects to finalisation.
• Flexibility to travel extensively when required.
• Contactable references, a valid driver’s licence, own car, and a clear criminal and credit record.
