Role details / duties

• Take charge of the thermoforming department at a plastic packaging manufacturing plant.
• Turn production schedules into smooth, well-organised daily operations.
• Lead operators as a high-performing team, with clear standards and teamwork.
• Set and optimise plastic processing machines for quality and output.
• Use systems including BMS, Syspro, DMS, PowerBI and Plantmaster where required.
• Apply knowledge of thermoforming and plastic processing of moulds in day-to-day production.

Requirements

• Grade 12.
• National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with BMS, Syspro, DMS, PowerBI and Plantmaster systems.
• 10 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience with thermoforming and plastic processing of moulds is essential.
• Ability to set and optimise plastic processing machines.
