Role details and duties
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for working on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacturing, through to test and evaluation. The successful candidate must have a proven ability to lead a team, and previous experience in a military vehicle design environment would be advantageous.
Requirements
- BEng or BSc (Mechanical Engineering) or Masters, OR a National Diploma or BTech (Mechanical Engineering).
- 5 to 7 years of working experience in automotive engineering or the mechanical structures industry.
- Proven ability to lead a team.
- SolidWorks or a related 3D CAD package.
- Previous experience in a military vehicle design environment would be advantageous.
