About the company and the work
Status Staffing is a Western Cape based boutique staffing firm that matches candidates with employers across a broad range of sectors. Here it is recruiting for a client team in Somerset West, Cape Town, that operates in the maintenance and FMCG space, covering food processing and packaging. The Maintenance Technician / Millwright is a hands-on role at the heart of production: when machines stop, this is the person who gets them going again, and when they run, this is the person who keeps them reliable, safe and efficient.

Because the plant runs on shifts, the role involves shift work, including rotational shifts and weekends.
