Role details and duties
Your main outputs will include planning, optimising and overseeing daily transport routes to support maximum efficiency and punctuality, and managing and coordinating transport schedules to ensure smooth daily operations. You will manage, motivate and coordinate a team of drivers and operational staff, and use Microsoft Excel to track schedules, analyse route performance, manage operational data and prepare reports. You will coordinate vehicle maintenance and monitor compliance with applicable safety requirements, regularly monitor fleet utilisation and vehicle availability, and resolve operational challenges promptly to minimise service disruptions. You will also monitor transport operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality, maintain accurate operational records and transport data, and monitor service delivery and address operational issues that may impact on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
