Role details / duties

• Process all system transactions, including sales orders, purchase orders, receipts and related logistics transactions.
• Manage compliance with transactional approval requirements, company policies, internal logistics regulations and procedures.
• Ensure transactions are processed within the Logistics Operational Level Agreement.
• Prepare and manage month-end work according to transactional cut-off times, and take part in inventory-related work.
• Resolve queries from sales, suppliers, finance and warehouse teams, escalating where required.
• Identify operational and SHEQ risks and report them to Logistics Management.
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required by management, and support vendor and supplier compliance.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory).
• Sage ERP system transacting experience.
• 1-2 years of proven experience, including within logistics or supply chain.
• End-to-end sales cycle coordination.
• Experience in order management and ERP system transactions, including processing orders and invoicing.
• Previous procurement experience or logistics coordinating experience is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy; advanced Excel will be an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication, strong organisation and multitasking, analytical and methodical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, without supervision, and to take ownership of assigned tasks.
