A client is seeking an IT manager to define and execute the enterprise IT strategy that underpins the company’s corporate, commercial and operational functions, in Centurion. The client runs key platforms including ServiceNow for ITSM and workflow automation, Google Workspace for collaboration, email and identity, Microsoft Azure for infrastructure, compute, identity and security, and Sage 300 for finance, procurement and reporting.

Role details / duties

• Define and execute a 3-5-year enterprise IT strategy, align the IT roadmap with corporate and commercial objectives, and establish governance frameworks aligned to ISO, ITIL and best practice standards, acting as custodian of enterprise architecture and standards.
• Own the end-to-end life cycle of all enterprise applications and ensure tight integration between ServiceNow, Sage 300, Google Workspace and Azure platforms.
• Drive automation and digitisation of business processes and ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
• Architect and manage enterprise workloads on Azure, including virtual machines and application hosting, identity and access (Entra ID), and secure connectivity and services, ensuring high availability, resilience and disaster recovery capability, and optimising cloud cost, performance and scalability.
• Own enterprise IT service delivery across all business units, establish and maintain SLAs/OLAs and incident, problem and change management processes via ServiceNow, ensure a consistent, reliable end-user experience, and oversee collaboration tools, endpoints and user support services.
• Define and enforce enterprise cyber security strategy covering identity and access management, endpoint and cloud security, and data protection and governance, ensuring compliance with POPIA, internal security policies and ISO 27001-aligned industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or a related field.
• Required certificates: AZ-104 – Azure Administrator; MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator; SC-300 – Identity and Access Administrator; AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect; MD-102 – Endpoint Administrator; SC-100 – Cyber security Architect; SC-200 – Security Operations Analyst.
