The Recruitment Guy (Pty) Ltd is recruiting for a commercial vehicle fleet workshop in Camperdown, working across hydraulics, logistics, fleet, workshop and maintenance. The technician helps keep fleet vehicles running by looking after hydraulic systems and carrying out fleet maintenance and repairs. The role is permanent and full time, with a start as soon as possible.
Role details and duties
- Perform maintenance and upkeep of the fleet.
- Take part in standby duties.
- Attend to breakdowns during and outside normal working hours.
- Administer internal parts processes.
- Identify deviations, irregularities and discrepancies.
- Maintain workshop housekeeping and comply with health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Valid Code B (Code 08) driver’s licence.
- Minimum three years’ practical experience in a similar position.
- Welding experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Good self-discipline and time management.
- Ability to work overtime and under pressure.
- Traceable and contactable references.
- Local residency or willingness to relocate.
