Role details / duties

• Lead and oversee recruitment, staffing requirements and talent acquisition.
• Run a structured onboarding process and make sure all onboarding documents are completed.

• Oversee Employment Equity processes and statutory submissions.
• Manage B-BBEE requirements linked to Skills Development and Management Control.
• Implement and monitor learnership programmes and the YES (Youth Employment Service) programme.
• Handle labour relations matters in line with legislation and company policy.
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, employee queries, HR administration and policy support.
• Review and approve monthly payroll.

Requirements

• Matric Certificate.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
• Sound knowledge of Employment Equity legislation and related submissions.
• Sound knowledge of Skills Development and Workplace Skills Plan processes.
• Experience with B-BBEE compliance, learnerships and youth development programmes will be beneficial.
• A strong understanding of labour relations practices and legislation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll or HR systems.
