Afrimat Mining Services Lyleveld Siding has a vacancy for a:
Water Truck Operators X2
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
Collect water as required
Record all collections
Fill tanks as required
Dampen roads as directed
Continually check the gauges of the Water Truck Machine during operation
Operate the Machine within the manufacture’s specifications and in accordance with standards set during training
Fill up with fuel as required
Keep the Machine clean
General work on site when required (none operating)
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Grade 12 certificate
Water Truck, code 14 license and PDP
3 years related working experience in the mining industry
General mechanical knowledge
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Be prepared to work after hours when needed
Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment
The candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
