We are looking for a motivated, organised and reliable candidate to join a growing team in the role of Social Media Assistant. This opportunity is suitable for someone who enjoys working with people, managing daily tasks and supporting business growth through communication, content, administration and digital tools.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, following instructions and completing tasks on time. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills and a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communication & Customer Support
- Respond to emails, WhatsApp messages and customer enquiries professionally.
- Assist clients, customers or team members with clear and helpful communication.
- Keep communication organised and follow up when needed.
- Maintain a friendly and professional tone at all times.
2. Marketing & Social Media
- Assist with social media content planning and posting.
- Create simple captions, content ideas and engagement posts.
- Help grow online visibility through consistent posting and audience engagement.
- Support basic campaign ideas for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Google platforms where needed.
3. Administration & Operations
- Keep records, lists and documents updated.
- Organise daily tasks and complete assigned work on time.
- Support managers or team members with admin-related duties.
- Use online tools such as Google Workspace, Canva, WordPress or spreadsheets when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Good written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and confidence using online tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good time management and organisation skills.
- Willingness to learn new platforms and systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with social media content creation.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, WordPress or Google Docs.
- Understanding of online marketing, SEO or paid advertising is helpful.
- Previous admin, marketing, customer service or content experience is an advantage.
